Bringing Sports Communities Together

to Support Underfunded Cancer Research

As the charitable beneficiary, Kure It is excited to announce the fundraising campaign Rivals United for a Kure, inspired by A City Divideda documentary highlighting the longstanding rivalry between the football teams of the University of Southern California and the University of California – Los Angeles.

There are many college football rivalries; however, the USC/UCLA rivalry remains unique since the schools share the city of Los Angeles, with only 12 miles of separation. A City Divided features the most memorable moments in the schools’ rivalry, with personal accounts from coaches, players and fans.

The goal of the Rivals United for a Kure campaign is to unite students, alumni and fans of both schools in the mission of funding innovative cancer research.

All net proceeds from the 2012 Red Carpet Film Premiere and 2013 Gala Honoring Coaches Terry Donahue and John Robinson will be divided equally and awarded to innovative research projects conducted at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of USC and UCLA.

Visit the Rivals United for a Kure website for photos, fundraising ideas, and opportunities for involvement.
