Julie’s Story | Before Julie Forys lost her battle with Glioblastoma in May 2021, walking with friends to enjoy a cold beer was one of her favorite weekend activities. Julie was an amazing mother, a generous friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her. She and her husband, Mike, were busy raising their two children but always made time for old friends.
Julie was diagnosed in October 2020 and succumbed to this vicious and cruel cancer in just seven months. We are walking to keep the memory of Julie’s grace and kindness alive and to help fund research to fight cancer that took her from us much too soon.
